Due to our ever-expanding growth as a company, RA Dalton Ltd are recruiting an accounts payable clerk to work in our accounts department at Head Office.
The role:
- Processing purchase ledger invoices onto the accounts system
- Reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and matching purchase orders
- Resolving supplier queries
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements and compiling payment runs
- Handling payments
- Development and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets
- Holiday cover within other roles of the accounts team
The Candidate requires:
- Keen eye for detail and ensuring accuracy
- Confident and professional manner
- Excellent organisational skills
- Self-motivated, pro-active and able to work to own initiative
Preferred but not essential:
- Knowledge of software packages such as Sage 200
- Purchase ledger and previous experience within accounts department
- Competent in Microsoft -Outlook, Word and Excel

- 9:00 AM to 5:00PM
- Full time or part time position available with Hours open to negotiation for the right candidate
- Position will be at our Head Office: Burtree Ford, Cowshill, Bishop Auckland, DL13 1DB
Salary £ 20,500 – 22,500
37.5 hours per week
