RA Dalton Ltd are the Klargester number one accredited installer covering the whole of the UK.
On the right tack with this new Klargester Bioficient 4 installation!
Every installation we carry out no matter whether it is domestic or commercial our quotations are tailored to suit each individual criterion. This means the size of the systems we install doesn’t necessarily correlate to whether it is commercial or domestic – we have equally installed small systems to suit office blocks and large 100 population plants for housing developments.
The specification for commercial systems works a bit differently to your standard house population count as the size of the unit is calculated on the max number of staff and visitors, therefore when we were approached to cover the installation of a new sewage treatment plant to serve a boating club a number of calculations were required to be made to make sure the system was appropriately sized.
To account for the maximum number of visitors we recommended the installation of a Klargester Bioficient 4 package sewage treatment plant, this system would not only handle the flows but also provide the desired effluent standard to enable a quality discharge to the watercourse.

Whenever one of our contracts managers attend site, they always look at each individual alternative, in the first instance a full evaluation of the existing site set up is required. If the existing setup is non-compliant with the 2020 General Binding rules (which unfortunately for this site was the case) then we try to see if there is any way in which we can adapt this to appease the regulations.
Due to the vicinity to the watercourse, it was not reasonable or feasible to install a new drainage field whilst maintaining the desired distance therefore we were unable to suggest this as a suitable option. Therefore, we proposed to install a package sewage treatment plant to serve the commercial development and retain the existing discharge location.

The new installation was located near to the venue on the grassed bankside meaning the low-profile lids on the sewage system was an ideal set up for a minimal visual impact. This also meant that future access for servicing and the tankers would be no problem at all as the hard standing was right alongside the system.
Once the installation team had completed the groundworks element the reins were handed over to our servicing department who were soon on site to carry out the final set up and commissioning of the new unit. Now that the installation is complete our customer has the option to sign up for servicing which will also entitle the system to qualify for the Klargester extended warranty provided the servicing requirements are adhered to.
