National Apprenticeship Week: RA Dalton Invests in the Future Through Skilled Apprenticeships

In March 2024, RA Dalton welcomed two ambitious apprentice engineers into our servicing team. Over the past 11 months, these individuals have undertaken a comprehensive training journey, and we’re excited to share their progress and the positive impact it’s having on our team.

From day one, our apprentices were immersed in hands-on learning. Working alongside our most experienced servicing engineers, they gained practical experience in maintaining sewage treatment systems, managing pump stations, and assisting tanker operations. Alongside technical skills, they also developed strong customer service abilities, ensuring they can meet the needs of our clients.

Recently, the apprentices completed a series of rigorous internal assessments designed to evaluate their readiness to take on independent responsibilities. Whether it’s routine maintenance or addressing complex challenges, we want to ensure they are well-prepared to support customers across the country.

Their growth and experience in the field means we’ll have greater capacity to take on new projects in 2025, helping us meet increasing demand while maintaining the high standards our clients expect. It’s a win-win situation—our team grows stronger, and our clients continue to receive reliable, high-quality service.

At RA Dalton, we believe in the value of investing in people. By offering skilled apprenticeships, we’re not just building a stronger workforce—we’re contributing to the future of the industry. The success of these apprentices is a testament to their dedication and the supportive environment we strive to create.

Here’s to the next generation of skilled professionals who will help shape the future of our industry.

Supporting the next stage of our growth

As RA Dalton continues to grow, we’re looking at how we can develop the way we work to support both our customers and the wider business.

With new opportunities emerging and our customer base continuing to develop, it is vital our internal processes and communication evolve alongside us. This means strengthening how different departments connect and ensuring that we continue to provide the consistent, quality, personable service our customers expect.

As part of this ongoing development, we are pleased to share that Gail Bould will be moving into a broader role within the company as Business Development Operations Manager.

Looking Ahead

As we look towards the future, it’s an exciting time for RA Dalton. Growth isn’t simply about bringing in new business; it is also about building on what we already do well and finding ways to work better together.
Congratulations on your new role Gail, we wish you every success as you take on this next chapter!
